Sacred India

A soulfully guided journey through South India’s timeless beauty & living wisdom traditions.

February 1-14, 2027

“Some journeys show us the world.
Sacred pilgrimage helps us remember ourselves.”

India is an invitation.

Ancient temples before sunrise…

Jasmine and sandalwood in the air…

Chanting echoing through thousand-year-old stone sanctuaries…

Ayurvedic oils…

Elephants…

Coconut groves…

Sacred dance…

Laughter over shared meals…

Tears during ceremony…

Quiet moments looking out over the Indian Ocean…

Returning home somehow different than when you left.

Join your facilitator, Dawn DelVecchio, MA, for an intimate pilgrimage to South India’s sacred sites, living devotional traditions, and healing arts.

If you are devoted to spiritual awakening and sacred service – and if India’s timeless wisdom stirs ancient memories within you – then this journey may be for you.

With an intimate group of 8–12 people we will travel through Southern India, exploring magnificent expressions of devotion, beauty, and traditional healing that has been preserved across millennia.

Together, we will visit extraordinary temples and sacred sites where reverence for the Divine has remained alive for centuries. We’ll immerse ourselves in breathtaking natural landscapes and experience Ayurveda, the world’s oldest known holistic healing system.

If you feel the pulse of accelerating change upon the Earth, then you already know:
this is the moment we have been preparing for over lifetimes.

Many of us are being called back to ancient lands where, in other incarnations, we walked as healers, mystics, priests, and priestesses. We return now to awaken dormant memories, strengthen our Inner Light, and activate the gifts needed in order to serve Earth and humanity’s great shift. Through ceremony, deep sharing, communion with the elements, sacred exploration, and planetary grid-work, we will weave spiritual service with beauty, celebration, and remembrance.

Reawakening Incarnational Gifts & Sacred Memory

As the accelerating frequencies of Light dismantle the old systems that cannot continue into the New Earth, we are being asked to stand ever more grounded, embodied, and aligned with the Divine.

For generations, seekers and pilgrims have journeyed to India in search of healing, wisdom, and awakening. Though the world has changed dramatically over the decades, the ancient spiritual current of India continues to call those ready to remember. If you are devoted to healing, awakening, and planetary service, come, gather with us in a holy “Mother Land” – to celebrate, remember, and reactivate your wisdom, gifts, and spiritual capacities needed for these transformative times.

Sacred India is for those devoted to inner awakening, sacred service, playful discovery, and authentic connection.

Dawn gives thoroughly. Her worldly and otherworldly knowledge of the feminine shows up in everything she does. She has integrity and a heart full of love for all. She is unafraid to speak the truth. She is the kind of leader we need for these times. Dawn is the real deal.

Is This Pilgrimage for You?

Colorful, aromatic, vibrant, and deeply alive, India is unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Blending ancient spiritual traditions and healing arts with elaborate festivals, breathtaking temples, extraordinary architecture, lush natural beauty, and rapid modern growth, India is a land that touches people at the Soul level.

India is not for everyone. But for those who feel the call, this ancient land can be profoundly life-changing.

So if the idea of a carefully curated journey that weaves spirituality, healing, beauty, and joyful exploration excites you, here are some signs this pilgrimage may be calling your name:

You sense there is a deeper purpose your Soul came here to fulfill.

You feel called toward sacred service during this time of planetary awakening.

You are devoted to your own healing, growth, and spiritual evolution.

The colors, textures, temples, and ancient healing arts of India awaken something within you.

You are ready to receive new levels of clarity, activation, joy, and inner peace.

You value authentic connection and are willing to Lift others as you RISE.

This pilgrimage may NOT be for you if …

You are unwilling to engage in honest self-reflection or authentic sharing.

You are deeply attached to patterns, habits, or addictions you know no longer serve your highest good.

You seek authority or validation outside yourself.

You prefer blame over personal responsibility and sovereign growth.

You are not physically able to navigate a tropical climate, active travel days, or the natural unpredictability of a pilgrimage journey.

India invites openness, flexibility, humility, wonder, and presence. Those who answer her call will be forever changed.

Being able to study with Dawn from day one has always turned out to be more than I expected because she gave me what I needed to learn and not just what I wanted. I’m blessed to have her as my teacher and mentor. She knows her stuff!

Check out from our Kerala beachside hotel is at 11am on Monday, February 15, 2027.

If you choose to stay on for either the 2-night add-on or the 5-night Ajanta/Ellora extension, I will provide you with further departure details.

How much is the deposit?

A non-refundable deposit to hold your spot is $2,000.

How can I make my deposit and other payments?

Payments can be made via Venmo or personal check (from within the USA) or via credit card* or bank transfer for those outside the USA.

  • A 4% processing fee will be added to credit card payments. This can be avoided if you by using Venmo, direct bank transfer, or personal check.
How many people will be in this retreat?

Spaces are highly limited for this pilgrimage. We can accommodate a maximum of 12, plus your facilitator, Dawn DelVecchio.

Do I need a passport?

Yes. Unless you are an Indian citizen, you will require both a passport and a VISA

You are responsible for ensuring you meet the India Tourist Visa requirements in order to obtain an India Tourist Visa before your arrival in the country.

How do I get to India?

India is located in South Asia, surrounded by the Indian Ocean to the south, the Arabian Sea to the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal to the southeast.

IMPORTANT: You will fly into Chennai International Airport (Airport Code: MAA) and fly out of Mumbai International Airport (Airport Code: BOM).

When should I arrive?

The retreat begins on February 1, 2027. However, I recommend you arrive in India at least one day and ideally two days prior in order to give yourself time to ground yourself, adjust to the time difference, the temperature and the tropical climate. Accommodations for these nights are not included in your itinerary or package, but you can choose the 2-night pre-trip hotel extension at the Taj Connemara. Pricing includes airport transfer.

Will I have time to visit India beyond our itinerary?

Your length of stay is up to you. If you are coming from Europe or the Americas, I recommend you plan to stay longer than the length of our pilgrimage. India is a big country with much to see and do. Since we will not be conducting specific shopping tours or visits to the northern half of the country, staying on gives you the chance to explore the beauty and diverse culture of India either before or after our time together.

Will I get any help with planning?

Absolutely! Once you have secured your spot, I will be available to answer questions, and will provide you with a comprehensive information packet, including details on: where to find affordable flights to India, what to bring, when to arrive, and other important information.

What if I am new to this work?

If you are a newly awakening lightworker or not-yet initiated priestess, no worries! Your best course of action right now is to read and fill out the application.

Can I have private accommodations?

A single supplement is available for all hotel stays (but not on the boat). The single supplement cost is $1950 for the main tour. Additional cost for add-on extensions.

Will my dietary needs be taken into account?

Yes! Your dietary needs will be accommodated in the hotel restaurants and on the boat. Once you are registered we will request information on your dietary needs. Also worth noting is that India as a nation has a strong and ancient tradition of vegetarianism. It is very, very easy to be a vegetarian in India! That said, meat and fish dishes are also available.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing via email to Dawn. Regardless of the reason for cancellation, those canceling their booking will forfeit their Non-Refundable Deposit of $2000. You will then be entitled to a refund of a portion of the remaining Retreat Fee in the amounts provided below:

Please note that as the Retreat Organizer, I am not responsible for your airline or travel arrangements, and assume no responsibility or liability for losses due to cancellations arranged by the airline carrier.

Do I need travel insurance?

A journey to India is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a dedication of time and investment. I strongly encourage you to invest in travel, medical, and trip cancellation insurance.

Will I have WIFI access throughout?

The Internet may NOT be available at all times. It is usually quite strong at the hotels, but we neither guarantee nor promise there will be internet on the boat tour in Kerala, or during excursions. This is a great chance to disconnect from social media, to detox from digital conformity and attachment. However, if staying connected is crucial for you, I advise buying an Indian SIM card for your phone. You can do this inside the airport upon arrival.

The Retreat I attended with Dawn opened me up to my innate power within. We connected deeply to our bodies, minds and spirits through dance, ceremony, prayers, blessings and deep and authentic connections. I felt seen, heard and truly loved in a container that felt safe and expansive. Dawn leads authentically with her full heart, and humbleness. Thank you Dawn for such a life-changing experience!
